OC - Masanori Minami [Naruto]

Minami (means beautiful love, or something like that, I think) is the one of the last of bloodline to be able to use wood-style.
As a child, she was arranged to marry Uchiha Itachi, in order to bring peace between clans, and ultimate harmony for their village.
Their was talk of an uprising. The ultimate battle was set to occur on their wedding day.
Itachi was ordered to abandon the arranged marriage, and instead take out the entire Uchiha clan, in order to protect the village.
Minami believed she would never be worthy of love, and tried to run away.
She encountered Naruto, and he told her to believe in herself, and if she didn't think she was worthy, then she should prove her worth.
They became friends.
Later down the line, when the exams are up, she meets Gaara.
She is very interested in him, and cheers him on, but he remains silent, and keeps his distance.
She begins to believe it is because he is there to kill her. But turns out, that was not the case.
As the Sand is leaving Konaha, Naruto tells him to have hope.
Minami shows up, along with members of Anbu, ready to stop them and bring them to justice.
Naruto insists it was not his fault, it was Shikaku, the One-Tail demon. Naruto begs Minami to help Gaara.
She uses a special wood-style sealing technique that severs the tail from Shikaku.
She keeps a small portion of the tailed beast's power inside herself, to relieve the strain on Gaara.
He is able to keep more control, and sees that even though he feels alone, there are now two others who are very much like him.
When the seal is complete, she reaches out her hand and holds Gaara's very softly.
'The world we live in is cruel. People's hearts turn cold each day. Just remember, that no matter how empty it seems, no matter how lonely you feel, there will always be someone, somewhere who loves you.'
Naruto gives his thumbs up! 'You'll always have us, after all... we're friends!'
She pops up later during Naruto's training with Jiraya.
Using her wood-style, she tries to help him and Jiraya. Naruto is allowed to use more of the Nine-Tails' power, and Minami tries to seal it.
They are helping each other train.
During one intense training battle, Naruto begins to lose control, and too many tails begin to appear.
Naruto strikes Jiraya with a nearly fatal blow. Minami is able to grab hold of one tail and pull it into herself, and seals it.
The Nine-Tails loses hold of Naruto, and he loses consciousness and doesn't realize what happened. Neither of them wants to reveal he nearly killed his mentor.
Minami's shining moment would be after Gaara's 'death'. She feels within her Shikaku's struggle. She warns the Hidden Leaf Village.
Naruto goes to rescue Gaara. His grandmother brings him back to life, at the cost of her own.
Later down the line, there is a plan to help the Sand Village. Minami tries to volunteer, but her rare bloodline makes her a valuable target, and she is denied.
She confesses to the Hokage that she has a portion of Shikaku's power. The elders feel it should be kept in Konaha.
She begs everyone to let her give it back, so that they will have the power to protect their own village.
After a full day of debate, the elders give in, but only on the condition that they arrange the exchange of power through marriage.
Tsunade is against the terms, but is forced to agree in order to form a peace treaty.
Minami despairs, thinking the village has abandoned her, and that she will go unloved.
Upon arriving, she tries her best to keep her head down. She stays silent and in the shadows. Kankuro insists Gaara should get to know her.
He takes her out to the village, to the schools to train the younger ninja, to the park.
They spend the day together, and share their tender childhood memories of loneliness. They are quiet for a while, looking at the stars.
Gaara remembers who Minami is, and takes her hand.
'Just remember, that no matter how empty it seems, no matter how lonely you feel, there will always be someone who loves you.'
The ceremony to transfer, what remains of Shikaku's power to Gaara, begins the next day.
With the strong bond they now share, the ritual will go smoothly. EXCEPT FOR BAD GUYS SUDDENLY APPEAR!!!
Rogue members of the Sand Village who have banded together to take down this member of the Leaf, and expose all their secrets.
Gaara stands in front to protect her, but she insists, 'I have nothing to hide. I will show you all my secrets'.
She uses her wood-style to bind them and absorb their chakra. Some break free and try to attack her.
She uses earth-style to create stone armor and punches the SHIT out of them!
blah blah blah, awesomeness ensues, at the end of the day they are able to finish the ritual, and then begin the wedding vows.
Due to the delay caused by the battle, the wedding takes place as the sun sets.
They vow to love and protect each other, sun goes down, and they kiss in the dark.
Everyone attending lights lanterns and they have a wonderful celebration!
Minami smiles at the crowd cheering, finally feeling worthy of respect.
Gaara reaches and holds her hand softly. She looks to him, and finally feels worthy of love.
Later, she visits Konaha, and hopes to catch Naruto in town during her stay, but he is still training.
Pain comes to Konoha and destroys the village, she dies trying do defeat one of the Pains.
When she dies, it releases the power of the nine tail from her, back to Naruto. Then everyone comes back to life, blah blah.
**I don't keep up with the manga, just watching the anime, so I'm still trying to figure out how to squish her in the war.
I'm thinking she's out there with the sealing teams, just not sure which team to put her on.
